Josh Bedell

Josh Bedell is a solo musician who has been playing in various venues around New York for over 20 years.  He is now working on his fourth album, entitled Init.coming soon.

Josh has played with world renown conga player Giovanni Hidalgo,  Kim Nazarian, Charlie Sarling (Maynard Furguson ) Frank Cannon (Sally Struthers).  He studied with jazz greats Barry Harris and Roland Hanna.

He is able to improvise in any key, but he prefers to compose with a jazzy/new age feel.  Josh does not like to record with sampled sounds, as he believes it's more fun to play the parts live.  This makes his music more bona fide sounding, than other artists who don't have the training.

 

He also writes music for school jazz band, orchestra, band and choir.
